Mihai Iacob

A beloved husband, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Mihai Iacob passed away peacefully in his home on January 16, 2022, at the age of 70. He was born in the village of Nicseni, in the Botosani region of Romania on August 6, 1951, to the late Maria and Dumitru Iacob, the eldest of 10 children.

On May 6, 1973 he married Adela Pribeagu, his wife of 48 years. He is survived by his wife, 8 children: Cornelia (Daniel Morar), Adriana (Florin Coroama), Corneliu (Naomi Iacob), Mihaela (Severin Ionashku), Cristian (Cristina Iacob), Beniamin (Clara Iacob), Emanuel (Chloe Iacob), Estera (Laviniu Avram), 31 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mihai was an active member at Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He loved people, family, prayer, song, and fellowship.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wages & Sons Funeral Home. Wake service (priveghi) on January 29, 2022 at 7pm Burial service (inmormintare) on January 30, 2022 at 11am.

His body will be laid to rest at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA
