Nancy Mynette Johnson

Nancy Mynette Johnson, born September 27, 1948, has passed peacefully into heaven on October 28th, 2021, in Lawrenceville, Georgia at the age of 73. Her passing ensued after a long battle of illness and complications, after surviving cancer and multiple strokes.

She was a fiancé, mother, grandmother “Nanny”, great grandmother, sister, and friend who loved her family dearly. Nancy was a dedicated and hard-working woman, and when she retired from the insurance industry, she was finally able to share more time with family and friends. She loved to bowl, and travel, and she loved the holidays. Her “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held at Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA. She will take her eternal rest at the Gwinnett Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

A Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes, we’re together again.”
