Nelda Rae Savoy

Nelda Rae (Dillon) Savoy, 82, passed away Apr. 6, 2014. Originally from Livingston, TX, Nelda was the 4th of 10 children. She was married to the man of her dreams, Jean Savoy, for 57 years. Nelda loved being a mother to her children Jeanel, Kendall and Keri, and she cherished being a grandmother to Stephanie (Savoy) Brinkman and Lindsay Savoy. Nelda was predeceased by her father, mother, sister June, and brothers, D.D., Kay and Billy. Those who remain here to celebrate her life are her husband, children, grandchildren, Jeanel’s husband Walt Haber, Kendall’s wife Julie, Keri’s life partner Patrick Welge and Stephanie’s husband Adam Brinkman. She is also survived by her sisters, Faye, Joann, Pat and Sue, and her brother Euzell. Services will be held at 11:00 am, April 15th, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Stone Mountain GA. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Society of St Vincent de Paul or the Arthritis Foundation.
