Nettie Sue Hopper

August 12, 1933 — June 25, 2021

Nettie Sue Hopper, age 87, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, also known as Mama Sue, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 25, 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, G. Randall Hopper, son Larry Randall Hopper, daughter Terri Sue Jackson and husband Randall, grandchildren, Tony Jackson and wife Elizabeth, Wesley Jackson, Cody Jackson, Katie Sue Jackson, and Ashlee Hopper, great-grandchildren, James Jackson, Colton Hopper, and Wyatt Jackson; sister, Elizabeth Little and husband David, sister-in-law, Linda Self, brother-in-law, Benny Hopper and wife Kathie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She received a teaching degree at Howard College in Birmingham, AL (now Samford University). She taught at Lawrenceville Elementary. She enjoyed being a score keeper for Central Gwinnett High School softball for many years, and had a passion for sports. She enjoyed spending time with and vacationing with her family.
