Nicolaus Mykola Zdor of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away March 18, 2026. He was born Dec. 18, 1929 in Derezovka village, Ukraine to Poliana and Georgij Zdor.
Affectionately known as “Kolya” in his youth, Nicolaus grew up in war-torn Europe and eventually immigrated to the United States in 1949. Once on US soil he studied engineering at Johns Hopkins University and entered into a lifelong career with the Martin company (now Lockheed Martin).
He was blessed to have three children who along with their spouses, 6 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren were deeply impacted by his life. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched.
