She was born on March 1, 1933, in the village of Aughnish South, Kinvara, County Galway, Ireland. She immigrated to the US and resided in NY until her move to Georgia in 2001. Nora married the love of her life, Joseph Boyle, in October 1965. They had a wonderful life together, not only as husband and wife but as best friends.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Costello & Bridget Costello (Kinnane), her sister, Maureen Kelly (Costello), of Malverne, NY; brother Paddy Costello, Kinvara, County Galway, Ireland; and brother, Michael Costello, Tomkins Cove, NY.
She is survived by her wonderful husband, Joseph Boyle, daughter, Margaret Russell and her husband Chris, of Buford, GA; son, Patrick Boyle and his wife Argyro (Jeannie) of North Babylon, NY; sister, Bridget O’Connor(Costello) of Atlanta, GA; and her brother, Bernie Costello, of Gort, County Galway, Ireland. Nora is also survived by her 5 amazing grandchildren: Amber , Bailey, Argyro (Annie), and her husband Adam Roberts, Jack, Nora, and beautiful Great Grandson Nicholas, countless nieces and nephews, and friends from near and far.
Nora was a devout Catholic and lover of all things Irish… She had a heart for hosting friends and family, and a love for a great party. While she will be greatly missed, we know that she has been greeted by her friends and family who preceded her in eternal life… “Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hands.”.
