Norma Orgain Bragg Norma Orgain Bragg 76, of Stone Mountain, went home to be with Jesus November 17, 2012, due to pneumonia. The funeral service will be held November 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Mountain West Church. Cliff Gates of Mountain West Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday November 20th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Wages & Sons funeral home in Stone Mountain. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton Virginia Friday November 23rd at 2pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wages & Sons Funeral home in Stone Mountain Georgia. Norma was born in Lunenburg County Virginia on September 4, 1936. She was a graduate of the William Byrd High School class of 1955 and continued on to receive a Nursing degree from Roanoke Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She had nursing license in 4 states and knew she wanted to become a nurse at the age of 5. Immediately out of College she was appointed as Head Nurse and Supervisor and was a leader and mentor in every aspect of her life. Norma retired as a nurse from Emory Universality Hospital after 20 years of service. Her church and service to her church was the most important thing to her. She loved her friends and enjoyed planning and going on trips with the S.A.L.T. group. Norma is survived by daughter and son in law Mary Ann Virts Anderson and Phillip Anderson of Lula, Georgia, son Michael Mcormick of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Pam and John Bragg of Johnson, Tennessee, Godchild Cindy Cupp and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Norma is preceded in death by her mother Alice Richardson Bragg, her father R.O.Bragg, son Randolph Bragg Virts, Sister Karen Claris, Sister Sylvia Mays In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Mountain West Church in Stone Mountain. The Family wishes to thank all the family and friends of Norma Bragg for helping and praying during her illness.
