Norma Jean Sorrow

October 13, 1933 — February 19, 2018

NORMA JEAN (HANCOCK) SORROW, age 84, of Tucker, Georgia, passed away on February 19, 2018. While living and working in Charleston, South Carolina, Norma met and married her husband, Pete Sorrow. While Pete was in the Navy, they traveled in Japan and moved to San Diego, California before settling in Atlanta. Norma was a member of the Red Hat Society. When Norma retired from the IRS, she liked to stay busy, so she worked as a hostess in the hospitality suite at the Atlanta Braves games. She loved to travel with her friends and visited many countries, and traveled throughout the USA. Norma has two children, Michael, deceased, and Michelle, of Toccoa, Georgia. She is survived by brother, Russell Hancock, and sister, Jackie Salmonsen, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and close friends who will dearly miss her. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Condolences may be expressed at www.wagesandsons.com.
