Bud is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Carolyn Bonner Litke; granddaughters, Brittany Elizabeth Litke and Olivia Carol Litke; and many loving, nieces, nephews and extended family. Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Bud was retired from Bellsouth/AT&T after 35 years of employment. He lived life to the fullest after retirement as a recreational pilot as well as spending time traveling with his wife and granddaughters. He also enjoyed cooking and looked for opportunities to get together with his friends and family to share new recipes. Bud dedicated many years of his life to the mission of the Shriners. He was also a Mason. He never met a stranger and always made you laugh. Memorial services for Bud will be at Winder First United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation afterwards at the church reception hall.
