Pamela Marie Mcwilson

Pamela Marie McWilson, known to some as Mommy, Pam or Salt, was born in Syracuse, New York, on April 6, 1970, to Mary Reith and John Webster. She was raised in Buffalo, New York, by Mildred and Robert Miller.

Pamela married at the age of 18. She then joined the Navy and gave birth to her first of 5 daughters: Malia McWilson. She is preceded in death by her husband Paulmer McWilson (inset Navy Pictures and Pictures of her and Malia). Pamela then met one of her great loves Clayton Webster-Hall and gave birth to four daughters, Abia, Tahphanes, Jedidah, and Ramiah Hall. Pamela was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Ramiah Lydia Hall. She is survived by her daughters: Malia Moné McWilson, Abia Hadassah Hall, Tahphanes Candace Hall, Jedidah Deborah Hall, grand-daughters Aislin “Zipporah” Hall, Ramiah Marie Wiley, Iyári Pamar Hall, grand-son Liam JéMone King. Pamela is also survived by her father, John R. Webster, whom she had a great love and respect for, and her sisters, Jody Webster, Cynthia Webster, Jamie Webster, Charlene Webster, Monica Webster, Regina Reith, Alexia Johnson, and brothers John R. Webster Jr. and Jay Johnson.

The most important thing in the world to Pamela was her family. She was such a selfless individual. Pamela would give anything and everything to those around her. She will be remembered mostly for her understanding and compassion and her ability to love unconditionally, extending that love to everyone around her and those loved by the people around her. When it came down to those she loved, there was nothing she wouldn’t do. She was a family woman through and through. Pamela was happiest when she was surrounded by friends and family and being able to smile. She was the life of the party with an infectious laugh a beautiful smile, and she brought joy to everyone she came in contact with.

Pamela was very active. She enjoyed fishing and camping and loved sports. She was a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan; no matter how terrible they were doing; she would never give up on them. She was competitive and honestly good at everything she tried to do. Many of us have never beat her at anything. Playing under the alias “Salt”, she participated in various sports clubs and leagues. She was especially good at Pool, Darts, Bowling, and Spades, and truly loved playing spades with her family.

After being discharged from the Navy and suffering the loss of her husband, Pamela decided to become a nurse. She was smart, determined, and her children motivated her while she put herself through college. She studied tirelessly, and in May 1997, she graduated from D’Youville College, and she proudly walked across the stage pregnant with her youngest daughter Ramiah Hall. She went on to excel in this field of service. She stayed in this field for over 20 years, eventually becoming a nurse supervisor. Anyone who knows Pamela knew how beautiful this woman was inside and out. She was a problem-solver, super optimistic, and in general, just a very positive being. She was a pillar of strength and had the ability to see the bright side in any situation. She gave a helping hand any time she could and opened her heart to anyone that needed it. She always had pure intentions, and she worked every day towards being the best version of herself. Her smile could brighten up a whole room and could lift your spirits.
