Patricia Hicks

HICKS, Patricia (nee Means) On Sunday, August 26, 2018 Patricia Hicks died peacefully after a long illness. She was born in 1946 to Al & Helen Means and spent most of her exciting life in Georgia. Patricia was also an active member at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta, where she was a Stephen Minister, Pastoral Care Volunteer, and Parish Council member. She graduated from St. Pius X and UGA and was active in the SPX Alumni Association and local Kappa Alpha Theta alum chapter. She helped organize the annual RPM 9/11 5K in Atlanta. Patricia had many friends who loved and cared for her and who will remember her fondly. She especially loved going to the movies and estate sale shopping with her treasured friend Ursula. Patricia is survived by daughter Helen (Daniel), brothers Al (Mary Jo), Bo (Sherry), Bobby (Isabella), and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at The Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Rd NE, Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10am.
