Paul W. Yount Jr.

Paul W. Yount, Jr., age 87 went home to His Lord and Savior on December 15. Paul spent a large portion of his younger life in Athens, GA before moving to the Atlanta area in the early 70’s. He retired from Metro Brokers in 2020. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kelley Meadows and father, Paul W. Yount, Sr.

Paul is survived by his wife, Peggy L. Yount, his children Wesley Yount and Amy Rhoads and son-in-law Rich; stepdaughter, Amy Sneed and his first wife Martha K. Yount. In addition, he is survived by his 4 grandchildren: Amanda, Clinton, Chandler and Sterling.

Services will be held at 12:30PM on Monday, December 26, at the Wages & Sons Funeral Home at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy. in Lawrenceville, GA, with interment immediately following at Gwinnett Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Paul’s favorite ministry – Billy Graham Evangelistic Association , 1 Billy Graham Pkwy., Charlotte, NC 28201 in Paul’s memory.
