Paula Mcintyre

Paula Pratt McIntyre died on Sunday, September 1, at Rosemont nursing facility in Stone Mountain. She was 78 years old. Paula was born in 1935 in Baldwin, NY, to Richard and Marie Pratt. She was the youngest of six siblings. After graduating from Bates College, she taught in public schools in New Hampshire and Rhode Island. She married Joseph McIntyre in 1964, and they moved with their children to West Virginia in 1981. In later years Paula worked as a substance abuse counselor. She enjoyed reading, listening to classical music, and long walks. She is survived by her son, James McIntyre, daughter, Margaret Williams, son-in-law Mark Williams, three grandchildren, Samantha, Isabelle, and Sebastian, two brothers, Richard and John Pratt, and their families.
