Peggy Johnson

Peggy Garner Johnson, 82, of Lawrenceville passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was born in Duluth, Georgia and was a life long resident of Gwinnett County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Elaine McGrath and son-in-law Ed, grandson Michael Delaney and wife Susan, great granddaughter, Ansley Delaney, and several nieces and nephews. Peggy was the youngest of seven siblings, all of whom have preceded her in death. During her life, she was a member of Luxomni Baptist Church and Meadow Baptist Church, where she was a greeter and beloved Sunday School teacher and Awana leader. Family will receive guests at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA., Monday, March 25 from 12:00 - 2:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Wages and Sons Chapel on Tuesday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Luxomni Baptist Church, 175 Luxomni Road, Lilburn, GA.
