Philip Daniel (Danny) Maughon

Philip Daniel “Danny” Maughon, age 67, Stone Mountain, GA died Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born on June 10, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Maughon.

Danny was very artistically inclined, he was also a location scout for movies and was a photographer. He is survived by his mother Zelma Taylor Maughon, Stone Mountain, GA; brother, Michael (Maureen) Maughon, Dallas, GA; sisters, Cindi (Ronnie) Stegall, Buckhead, GA; Lisa (Kenny) Beck, Conyers, GA; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Melwood Cemetery which is located at 5170 East Ponce De Leon Ave, Stone Mountain, GA, 30083.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 250 William St. NW, Atlanta, GA, 30303.

Services will be entrusted to Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA, 30083.
