Philip Alan Hallenbeck

Philip Alan Hallenbeck, age 59, of Sugar Hill, GA, died unexpectedly on February 12, 2023. He was a loving and special husband, father and brother to all. His love and friendship will truly be missed by those he leaves behind.

Phil was born on March 16, 1963, in Corning, NY, the youngest of four to Norman and Frances Hallenbeck.

Phil graduated from Ithaca College in 1985 with a degree in Communications and moved to Atlanta soon after where he started his career at CNN Headline News. He went on to hold various positions in Communications before ending his career with Oracle in Support Management. Phil had just recently retired and was enjoying spending quality time with his family and working on many different projects around the house. Phil married Kim Weinberg on October 14, 2000, and was a proud father of Jonathan and Ryan of Sugar Hill, GA.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edward and sister-in-law Sharron Hallenbeck and brother-in-law David Weinberg.

He is survived by his sister Joyce and brother-in-law Gilbert Mitchell, Elmira, NY, his brother Gary and sister-in-law Heather Hallenbeck, Pittsford, NY, and sister-in-law Shannon Weinberg, Marietta, GA.

A service to celebrate the life of Phil will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Wages & Sons Funeral Home located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
