Pravin Dahyabhai Patel

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Pravin Patel, a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Pravin left us at the age of 67, surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Daksha, his daughters Hetal and Alpa, and their families.

Pravin was born in Bharuch, India, on June 7, 1957, into a large and loving family of nine siblings, where he developed a deep appreciation for the importance of family. He led by example, becoming the first in his family to graduate from college. During his time at university, he met Daksha, the love of his life, and together they built a life grounded in mutual love, respect, and unwavering support through every challenge they faced. Their enduring partnership became the cornerstone of their family, teaching their children the invaluable lessons of unconditional love, loyalty, and commitment.

Pravin was a man of many passions. He took great joy in doing puzzles with his granddaughters, taking walks in the park, and, of course, sharing a warm cup of chai and nasta. He was the “Nasta King” in the eyes of his granddaughters. His home was a place of hospitality, always open to friends and family, where good food and conversation were abundant.

While his absence leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who loved him, his legacy of love, kindness, and commitment to family will continue to inspire us all. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace. You are forever in our hearts.
