Rajendrakumar J. Patel

Rajendra (Raju) was born in Ode, Gujarat on 7/17/1951.

One of three Children, he took over as head of the family at a very young age taking care of his siblings. He spent much of his time in Daramali (Gujarat, India) taking care of the family farm. He married his wife, Mina, in 1976 and had 4 kids. The family moved to the USA in 1996 to start a new journey. It is never easy starting a new life from scratch, but Raju and Mina did a wonderful job of raising their kids in Atlanta, GA. The sacrifices that they made for their kids will never be forgotten.

He was a man of simplicity in almost every aspect of his life. He was always determined to live a stress-free life. No matter the size of the obstacle that came in his path, he would overcome it with grace and remain humble through it all. As many Indians, he was a huge cricket fan. Sometimes waking up religiously around 4 AM to watch India play before heading into work. He enjoyed gardening and growing various vegetables and fruits in his backyard.

We are all proud of him as a husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
