Raleigh Wayman Major, age 85, passed Saturday, October 4, 2014. Preceded in death by his son, Gary Major; survived by his wife of 62 years, Mona Mozley Major; children Ralph and wife Kaye George of Woodstock, Georgia, Janis Wilson of Hiram, Georgia, Fran Walters of Enterprise, Alabama, Kenny and wife Pam Major of Decatur, Georgia, and Robin Whitaker of Winder, Georgia. Brother, Larry and wife Cecile Major of Roswell, Georgia. Sister, Joyce Stradley of Loganville, Georgia. Also surviving are 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Mr. Major was a retired truck driver for the ABF trucking company. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11 AM from the Stone Mountain Chapel of Wages & Sons Funeral Home.
