Ramanaresh Pathak

Ramanaresh Pathak, age 89, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 24, 1936, in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Ramanaresh was a vibrant soul with a heart filled with boundless love. He had a rare gift for making friends wherever he went. With a kind word, a funny joke, a peaceful smile, or a shared life experience, he could instantly make others feel welcome and at ease. His warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

After earning his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2011, he began what his family would say was his truest and most important role: being the world’s best grandfather. He embraced that role with complete joy, love, and devotion. His family will always remember the laughter he brought, the wisdom he shared, the massive cheerleading for the slightest achievement, and the steady comfort of his presence.

His favorite saying, “Deep Breathe and Enjoy,” offered with a cup of his delicious medicinal chai will remain with his family and friends forever. His words and selfless actions are a lasting reminder of the peace, humor, and perspective he has passed on to those he loved.

Ramanaresh Pathak will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love. He is survived by his wife Surekha, daughter Neha, son-in-law Jaydeep, granddaughters Ishani, Kiran, Vidya, son Vasu, and daughter-in-law Agni.
