Raymond James Tumlin

Raymond James Tumlin, 75, of Auburn, GA entered eternal rest on May 15, 2022. Ray was born on January 19, 1947 in Lilburn, Ga to the late Ezra and Kate Tumlin. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Hilda Tumlin of Auburn. Daughters: Tonia (George) Luna of North Carolina, Miranda Turner of Tennessee, Grandchildren: Austin Walden, Courtnie Reil, Kayla Schuenemann, Erika Bougher, James Turner and Paige Turner. Great-Grandchildren: Maddix Reil, Asher Reil and Sawyer Reil. Siblings: Gladys Wallace, J.E. Tumlin, and John Tumlin and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by siblings Shirley Shirley, Lelarbell Sanders, Wayne Tumlin and Elizabeth Page.

Ray was a very proud veteran and was devoted to his family. He retired from the energy field of engineering. He was a natural born leader, intelligent, determined and creative. He had many hobbies which included fishing, building computers, reading and just spending time enjoying life. His greatest legacy is the love he had for his family and the love all those who knew him returned to him. Rest in Peace Pops until we see you again.
