Raymond Tyson

RAYMOND TYSON

Mr. Raymond Tyson was born on April 23, 1931, in Greenville, SC. He was one of fourteen siblings growing up on a farm under the care of his mother, Olivia Tyson, and Herber Tyson. As he matured into a young adult, he migrated to New York City to start a new life. He later married Ms. Betty Jean Lawerence (Tyson) in 1961, and they both welcomed their daughter, Felicia Ann Tyson (Yssis Saadi El) on December 23, 1965. Mr. Raymond Tyson worked for New York City Municipality and through his years of service as an employee, husband, friend, and father, he valued commitment to family, integrity, and moral ethics, and shared those key values and many more with his daughter, grand and great-grandchildren, and extended family members. Our loved one will be deeply missed, however, the memories will continue to live on through the lives of all those who respected and loved him. Peace & Love.
