Rebecca Ann Mitchem

Ann Rogers Mitchem passed Sunday, August 3, 2014. Ann is survived by three children: Teresa Shirley Witham of Conyers, GA, Craig Mitchem of Lilburn, GA, and Dave Mitchem of Greenville, SC. Son-in-Law Doug Witham and Daughter-in-Law Kim Mitchem, wife of Dave. She has six grandchildren: Alison, Jay and Nick Shirley, Rose Mitchem, and Michael and Emily Mitchem. She is further survived by sisters Helen Willey and Joyce Jones, son-in-law Don Willey, and many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by son, Greg, and former husband, Fay. Ann’s parents, Sarah and Frank Rogers also preceded her in death.

Her love of the Lord and family will not end with her death. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Ann’s desire to be in the midst of family at all times will long prevail as the family’s tradition.

Visitation will be held at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA, 30083 from 5:00 – 7:30pm on Monday, August 4, 2014. A graveside service is set for 11:00am at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 East Ponce de Leon, Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083.
