Becky Wages was the most kind and generous woman ever to live. She was born in Roanoke, VA on March 15, 1959. She was a girl scout, participated in church choir at Windsor Hills UMC. She was a poet, as she wrote an amazing poem for her younger brother, Bobby, who passed when he was very young. She moved to Tucker, GA in 1975 where she attended and graduated from Tucker High School in 1976. Her faith in Christ strongly affected everyone around her. She was the 4 th child of six of her parents, Woody and Betty Angle. Her brothers and sisters consist of Mary K, Suzie, Jimmy, Sonny and her deceased brother, Bobby. Her laugh was contagious. Becky is survived by her husband, Johnnie; her daughter, Ashley; her son, Wayne; and her beautiful granddaughter, Skyleigh. Family meant the world to her and she would have given her right arm for anyone. Becky had the most amazing smile. It lit up every room she walked into. She worked for Gwinnett County Schools for over 15 years, starting out in the cafeteria and working her way up to a para-professional position working with special needs children (EBD) which she loved dearly. She truly devoted her career to impacting just one child’s life, which she did many, many times. Many of the children that were in her classes called her daily just to say thank you. We thank the Lord for allowing us to spend time with one of His most precious angels, Becky Wages. Becky loved seafood so much she could think about eating it and taste it in her mouth as if it was right there in front of her at that very moment. She was very talented on the guitar. Becky loved to garden and definitely held the power of a green thumb. She could bring any plant back to life like it was magic. She loved to sing. Becky was the most amazing cook. She could put a 5 star meal together out of nothing. She adored her granddaughter, Skyleigh, and her granddaughter adored her. She was the best mom any child could ask for. She cared about her kids so much. She always put the feelings of others before her own. She was a huge baseball fan for her son, Wayne. She was a very talented artist. When she wrote her R’s, no matter if it was meant to be a lower case or an upper case, she always capitalized them. Becky was loved by many people and she will always have an impact on every single person that she came in contact with. Becky was an angel living on earth waiting to go live in the sky with our Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ. She will NEVER be forgotten, and she will be dearly missed. We love you Becky!!!!
