Retha Mcintyre Merck

Retha McIntyre Merck, age, age 74, of Snellville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Merck, and son Dennis Paul Merck. She is survived by sons, Darren Merck and wife Laverne of Loganville, GA; Brian Merck and wife Tracy of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Floyd McIntyre of Cumming, GA; sisters, Bonnie Kendrick and Pat Farmer of Toccoa, GA; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Merck was a 1954 graduate of Stephens County High School, and retired from the Gwinnett County School System in food service. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. Tim Griffin and Rev. Andre Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2011 after 2:00 P.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 770 469-9811.
