Reuben Harper Mobley Jr. On October 13th, 2014 Reuben Harper Mobley Jr., age 90, entered into rest with his Savior and loved ones who preceded him in death. He is preceded in death by parents, Reuben Harper Mobley Sr. and Sammy Darling Pittard Mobley, sister Julia Mobley Davis Diebel, and brothers, John Robert Mobley and Samuel Dean Mobley. Reuben served in combat with the 10th Mountain Division in the U.S. Army, and also with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Oxford Georgia. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Julia Hewatt Mobley of Stone Mountain, several brothers-in-law, several sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 16, 2014 at 11:00am at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. Virgil Barnard officiating. Interment will follow in Snellville Historical Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, Georgia from 2pm to 8pm.
