On March 12, 2015, our loving son, Rick passed away and travelled to a place where he always wanted to go. Rick was a polite, well-mannered, complete gentleman until his last days. His life was full with his work with AT&T, his interests and hobbies of astronomy, photography, Ham Radio operator, radio astronomy, technologies, physics and discoveries of Stephen Hawking and Einstein. Rick made a positive impact on all the lives he touched with his sense of humor, and fascinated them with his hobbies and philosophy of life. Rick had a kind heart and smile for everyone. He called all obstacles in life just “a bump in the road.” He is a true American whose belief was “every day is a good day, some are just better than others.”
Rick is survived by his parents Fred and Diane Neuman; sisters Bonnie Peterson of Atlanta and Cindy Neuman of Lexington, Ky.; three nieces Taylor Ann Purcell of Houston, Tx., Andrea Peterson and Pamela Weber of Atlanta; and one nephew Tommy Sikes of Lexington, Ky.
Although Rick has passed away, he will always be with us for the rest of our lives. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Rick Neuman (N4RF) to the American Radio Relay League, (www.arrl.org) to the Education& Technology Program Fund.
