Robert Alan Blacklock

Robert Alan Blacklock, age 84, of Conyers, Georgia, died Friday, March 17, 2017. He is survived by wife Valerie Thompson Blacklock; daughters Elaine and David Walker of Alpharetta, Lisa and Johnny Johnson of Gainesville; son Alan and Candy Blacklock, of Sugar Hill; grandchildren Rebecca and Brian Kelleher, Jason Walker, Thomas Johnson, Mary Katherine Johnson, Morgan Blacklock, and Rachel Blacklock; great-grandchildren Raelyn Kelleher, Ryleigh Kelleher, Brady Kelleher, and Tucker Pinson. Mr. Blacklock was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Sarah Poe Blacklock, and brothers John Blacklock and David Blacklock. Mr. Blacklock was born in Alloway, New Jersey and was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church. Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Hills Baptist Church with Dr. Doug Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Hills Baptist Church, 2987 Hwy. 212, Conyers, GA 30094.
