Robert F. Johnson

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Max Welton Johnson, his brothers, Max Welton, Jr. and Richard M. Johnson, and 1 granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, and children: Laurie Tamalone, and husband, Michael of New Jersey; Deborah Brelinsky and husband, William of Georgia; Robert E. Johnson and wife, Deborah of New Jersey; Karen Fitzpatrick and husband, Thomas IV, of New Jersey; Keith Johnson and wife, Michele of Florida; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Daniel D. Johnson and wife, Mary of Colorado and Reverend Edward D. Johnson of Georgia. Robert and Phyllis were married February 16, 1952 in Rhode Island. He is a World War II veteran who served his country for 10 years with the Maritime Service and Army Transportation Service. Robert was a member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church and a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus. Prior to retirement, Mr. Johnson was President and CEO of Five Way Food Service. Robert was an avid golfer, enjoyed working in his yard, and all he ever wanted was "a kind word."
