Robert L. Mcclure

Robert L. McClure, 81, of Snellville, GA passed away on August 9, 2010. He is preceded in death by parents William David McClure and Media Lucille Fowler of Acworth, GA, sister, Marie Smith and brothers Herbert McClure, Lanier McClure and W.D. McClure. He attended North Georgia College and the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Education and Social Studies. He served in the Korean War from 1950 - 1953. He retired from the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta in 1984. Survivors include daughters Melanie Skinner Paul of Flowery Branch, GA , Karen Simerly Devin of Jefferson, GA, granddaughters, Amber & Heather Simerly, and Kelsey Skinner. He is also survived by a sister, Inez Thompson of Marietta along with a niece and several nephews. Services to be announced at a later time.
