Miller, Robert Earl, Sr.

Robert Earl Miller, Sr, age 80, of Buford, GA passed away January 5, 2014.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Ann Miller; sons, David Miller & wife, Cheryl, of MI; Glenn Miller & wife, Linda, of FL; Jeffrey Miller & wife, Stephanie, of GA; Robert Miller, Jr & wife, Maija, of GA; 6 grandchildren, Sarah Waterman of TX, Christopher Miller of NC, Michael Miller of FL, Sonia Underwood of MI, Kayla Miller of GA, Rebecca Miller of GA; great grandchildren, Leah & Paige Waterman of TX, Ethan & Evan Miller of FL, Jacalyn Miller of NC, Cole Underwood of MI.

Bob was born in Hicksville, OH on August 20, 1933 and later lived in IA, FL, and GA. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed traveling, singing in the Senior HiLo Group, and volunteering with the American Red Cross and H2U. Bob loved Ohio State and Georgia Tech football. He was an accomplished artist using oils and inks to create beautiful artwork of historical buildings, pets, etc. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church with a reception immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Robert, to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1826 Killian Hill Rd, Lilburn, GA 30047.
