Robert Clay Wade

Robert Clay Wade of Decatur, Georgia, passed peacefully December 29, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Robert worked as a jeweler for over 50 years creating unmatched original work. From an early age he also loved racing, from “races” with friends on Highway 78 as a teenager to competing in SCCA Autocross in parking lots to tearing up the track at Road Atlanta.

He loved his children most of all though. He strived to instill in them the values of curiosity, kindness, and generosity by embodying those aspects himself. He struggled with that at times, but never gave up on bettering himself and putting the needs of others ahead of his own. To the end he wanted to be a help to all and a burden to none.

He is survived by his former spouse Sherri Cameron and their son Jason and his former spouse Sharon Cho and their children Michael and Luna. He was preceded in death by his parents Dudley and Clay.
