Ronald Ron D. Storer, age 63, went to be with Jesus September 24, 2013. Born October 22, 1949 in Dayton, OH, Ron was adopted by Melvin and Martha Storer of Xenia, OH. He was the beloved husband of Rhonda L. Storer. An outstanding and gifted vocalist, Ron devoted most of his life to his love of worship. Ron's remarkable solo voice was requested countless times for weddings, funerals and evangelistic endeavors. He was the Minister of Music for Atlanta First Nazarene, Lilburn First Baptist, as well as Atkinson Road Baptist Church, covering 25 years in service to the Lord. Since 1998, Ron and Rhonda have operated Storer Classic Design, providing exceptional home remodeling and design expertise for their numerous clients - many who have become some of their most cherished friends. Known as a superb airplane craftsman, Ron was an avid participant both as a builder and flyer of large scale radio controlled airplanes. He enjoyed a great passion for motorcycling. Those who knew him well have been marked by his witty humor, humility, and sweet Christ-like spirit. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin and father-in-law, Ronald R. Brannon. Ron is survived by Rhonda, his wife of 28 years, two step-children, Shane Lewis and Corie Matt Weathers; two children, Andrew and Breland Leblanc; three grandchildren, Brooks Lewis, Aidan and Jackson Weathers. He is also survived by his mother Martha Storer; his sister Joy; and brother, Steve Ehlinger. Additional family members include Rosalee Brannon, Rod Mary Brannon and Randall Twila Brannon. In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts can be made to the Ronald Storer Memorial Fund, c/o any Brand Bank location. Visitation will be Saturday, September 28th from 4-7pm and a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, September 29th at 3pm at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550.
