Rosalie Jean Davis

Rosalie Jean Davis, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 3, 2026, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Born on January 19, 1938, in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Jean Kunes.

A strong and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Rosalie was cherished by everyone who knew her. She loved her family deeply, and her grandchildren were her world. She was an avid reader, keeping a journal of all the books she had read and wanted to read in the future. Her love for playing and watching golf was rivaled only by her love for the Dallas Cowboys and the Georgia Bulldogs.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Davis; her daughters, Shelly Kaczynski (John), Debbie Ambriati (Rick), and Wendy Smith (Ed); her grandchildren, Meagan Martinez, Jeff Kaczynski (Holly), Lauren Steinbauer (Reed), and Shae Smith; her great-grandchildren, Chandler Martinez, Corben Martinez, Colton Kaczynski, and Barrett Kaczynski; and her brother, Ralph Kunes, Jr. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Wendell N. Rogers.

A Celebration of Rosalie’s Life will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Gwinnett County Public Library Foundation, 1001 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
