Royce B. Duncan, age 61 of Grayson, passed peacefully on January 12, 2016, surrounded by family. Royce was born June 27, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Jacksonville University, became a CPA, and was a partner in the accounting firm of Rhodes, Young, Black, and Duncan. He was a former president of the Georgia Society of CPAs. Royce was known for his generous nature, being a friend to all and for being an avid Georgia Tech and Atlanta Braves fan. He was also a man of integrity and strength of character, rooted in a strong faith in Jesus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nell Duncan of Buford. He is survived by wife Nancy Duncan, son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Whitney Duncan, daughters and sons-in-law Lindsay and Kevin Snyder and Tracey and Glen Oat, grandchildren David and Sara Duncan, brother Wayne Duncan and nieces Anna and Claire Duncan of Seattle and numerous extended family members. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Christian Church, 6015 Old Stone Mountain Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30087 with Minister Mike McGuire officiating. The visitation will be on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Phone: 770-277-4550.
