In loving remembrance, Rudis Holland Wilson, joined her husband, Guy, with our Lord this past Saturday, February 25, 2017. She passed peacefully at her home in Dacula, Georgia.
Rudis was born in Douglas County, Georgia on February 15, 1927, the daughter of James Ernest Holland and Amanda Mae Aderhold Holland.
She was a longtime member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School class.
Rudis studied at Marsh Business College after attending West Fulton High School in Atlanta; retiring from the DeKalb County School System as the Executive Assistant for the Chairman of the Dekalb County School Board.
She is survived by her two children: Scott A. Wilson, Sr. (Kim) of Braselton and Sandi Henderson (Buck) of Dacula. There are six wonderful grandchildren, all sons: Scott Jr. and Brent Wilson of Lawrenceville, Wayne, Jason, and Kyle Henderson of Dacula, and Luke Sherrill of Taylors, SC. And her brother: Marvin Holland (Helen)of Mableton.
Predeceased by two brothers: Watson and Velvin Holland and two sisters: Aleen Houck and Evora Jones, and a set of twins: Kennie Jay and Winnie Mae.
A Memorial Service in her memory will be held this Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel and Visitation with the Family will begin at 10 am adjacent to the Chapel.
