Russell E. Moss

Russell E. Moss, affectionately known as “Rusty,” passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, at the age of 83, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Born on October 4, 1941, in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, Rusty lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep devotion to his family, and a kind heart. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who brought warmth, wisdom, and steady presence to all who knew him.

Rusty is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Moss; his daughter, Toni Armstrong; his grandson, Matthew Armstrong; and his granddaughter, Shaya Ely. His family was the center of his world, and he was deeply proud of each of them.

A Celebration of Life honoring Rusty will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Family and friends are invited to come together in remembrance of a life well lived and deeply cherished.

Rusty’s legacy lives on through the love he gave and the memories he leaves behind.
