Sallie Mae Pickens, age 94 of Stone Mountain died June 1, 2010. She was born August 14, 1915 to the late Waymon & Annie Taylor. She was the widow of Roy Allen Pickens and sister of the late Jack Buster Taylor. Mrs. Pickens was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and was past Worthy Matron and retired from Alterman Foods. She is survived by children, Jack Worthey and wife Elizabeth, Eddie Robinson, Lee Pickens and wife Brenda, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, sister in law Willie George & Ruth Taylor, numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday June 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Howard, Rev. Jimmy Merritt and Rev. Derek Lawrence officiating. Interment Church Cemetery The family will receive friends Friday and Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel
