Sandra Elaine Hickenbottom

Sandra E. Hickenbottom age 67 passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022, due to respiratory illness. She was born on August 7, 1955, in Iowa to Robert and Beverly Stratman. She married the love of her life Gary. A Hickenbottom August 17, 1974. Sandra was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She lived a life of servitude by having a career in nursing and help mothers with bringing life into the world.

Sandra enjoyed the arts and used her talents by making beautiful baby knitted blankets for all her grandchildren. She took pride in making individualized personal Christmas ornaments. She adores Christmas because she knew on this beautiful holiday her family would be with her celebrating the joy of Christmas.

One sweet fact: Sandra had a sweet tooth and enjoyed a simple cup of coffee with some powdered donuts.

No funeral or memorial services is immediately planned. The family will be honoring her life privately.
