Sarah Mitchell Hewatt

Sarah Mitchell Hewatt age 86 of Stone Mountain, GA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 8 ^th , 2022.

Born in Stone Mountain GA on Sunday August 11 ^th 1935. She was the daughter of the late Wesley Anderson and Sadie Duren Mitchell. She was retired from Continental Insurance Company as a Supervisor of Underwriting Insurance. She enjoyed her flower garden and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church in Flowery Branch.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Linwood “Wink” Hewatt and also son in law Aubrey Hall.

Survivors include daughters; Cathy Hall of Gainesville, GA and Donna (Steve) Fulford of Loganville, GA. Sister Helen Lee of Watkinsville, GA. Grandchildren Brian (Chelsea) Hall, Josh (Laura) Hall, Brad (Laura) Fulford, Katie (Nathan) Quinton, and Mitch (Kalyn) Fulford, and 14 great grandchildren also survive. Brother in laws; Billy Hewatt of Loganville, GA and Charles (Becky) Hewatt of Dawsonville, GA. Sister in laws; Opal Garmon, Eugenia (Harold) Everett, and Julia Mobley of Stone Mountain, GA

Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, March 16 2022, at the Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel, 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain, GA 30083 with Pastor Brian Hall officiating.

Interment will follow in the Eternal Hills Memory Gardens 3594 US-78 W Snellville, GA. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Josh Hall, Brad, Mitch, and Steve Fulford, Nathan Quinton, Terry Franklin, and Chuck Lee

The family will receive friends at the Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel from 11:30AM until 1:00PM on Wednesday March 16, 2022
