Shannon Elizabeth Atwell

Shannon Elizabeth Atwell, 55, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away on November 6, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Gwinnett Memorial Park, 925 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA with the Rev. Rebecca Rowell, cousin of Shannon, officiating.

Shannon was born in Valdosta, GA to Richard Dickinson Atwell and Elizabeth Judy Atwell on January 11, 1968. She graduated from Brookwood School in Thomasville, GA. Shannon attended Presbyterian College and Valdosta State College. She worked as a retail associate for several companies prior to moving to Fort Lauderdale.

Shannon is survived by her sister, Alisha Atwell Boger and her husband, Brian of High Point, NC; nieces Elizabeth Garland Boger and Caroline Vance Boger. Shannon is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Dickinson Atwell and Elizabeth Judy Atwell.
