Sharon Elizabeth Gilchrist

Sharon Elizabeth Shay Gilchrist, 63, of Tucker, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012. Shay is survived by her mother Barbara Gilchrist, of East Greenwich, RI, her sister Barbara Lynn McIntyre, of East Greenwich, RI, Her brother Robert Gilchrist and sister-in-law Lynne, of Norridgewock, ME, Matthew Gilchrist, of East Greenwich, RI, and niece Shaylin Gilchrist; her beloved pets, Winston and Emma. Shay is also survived by her special friend Mat Mathews. Also many surviving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Shay grew up in a military family and, therefore, grew up all over the world. She graduated from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA.; is a member of Alpha Sigma Tau social sorority. She retired from Delta Airlines as a flight attendant. She was currently working at Troncalli Motors Inc. She was a real "people" person who never met a person she didn't like. People gravitated to her, knowing she was genuinely interested in them. Family will receive friends Sunday, May 20, from 6-9 pm. A funeral mass will be said at 3 pm Monday, May 21, at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Fr.
