Shedrick Jones Carswell, Jr.

CARSWELL, Jr., Shedrick J. Shedrick "Rick" Jones Carswell, Jr., age 72, of Stone Mountain, Georgia died on November 3, 2014. Survived by his wife, Winifred, and son, Rick (Cat) Carswell, son Robert (Jadith) Carswell, and son Matt (Corrie) Carswell, three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Grant, and Savannah Carswell.  Also survived by his sister, Judy Stanley, and brother, Steve (Ann) Carswell.  After graduating from UGA he served in the US Army and attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Rick was happily married for 48 years and worked in field services for Printpack, Inc., for 42 years. Visitation begins at 1 pm and funeral service will be at 3 pm on Thurs, Nov 6 at Mount Carmel Christian Church, 6015 Old St Mtn Rd, St Mtn, GA 30087.
