Sherri Latrelle Wilson

Sherri Latrelle Wilson, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on December 15th 2023 in Lawrenceville, Georgia following a very sudden medical complication. She was 62. Sherri was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Gerald and Brenda (Hanson) Willis on September 26th, 1961. She enjoyed working with children, serving along side her aunt for many years at the Duluth United Methodist Church pre-school. She also worked in management in the retail industry. Sherri had a very thoughtful, generous, and kind heart and her smile would light up the room. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and make a life-long friend. She had a passion for music and never turned down an opportunity to attend a concert with her daughters and siblings. Sherri also loved animals – she never met a stray she didn’t take in and care for.

Sherri is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her daughters Monica (Eric) of Dacula, GA and Eddie of Chamblee, GA, mother Brenda of Buford, GA, brothers Gerald Kenneth “Kenny” of Buford, GA and Anthony of Douglasville, GA, sister Katrina of Buford GA, brother Robert of Asheville, NC, sister Katelyn of Houston, TX, grandchildren Emme, Lily and Zoey of Dacula, GA, and nieces and nephews Crystal, Matthew, Daniel, Ivy, Jesse, and Jackson. Her celebration of life will be held on 01/21/2024 at 1:00pm at Sam’s on Main, 2135 Loganville Hwy, Grayson, GA 30017. If you are planning on attending, please RSVP with Monica at 770-597-0255.
