Sylvia Ramona Pinkard

Sylvia Ramona (Patch) Pinkard, of Carnesville, GA went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 14, 2022. She was born in Atlanta, GA to Ada Bell and Howard Patch.

She served as a Nursing Assistant in various Atlanta hospitals for over 30 years. While in good health, Sylvia enjoyed an active life of local travel with her family. She especially loved taking her grandchildren to Stone Mountain.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her brother, James Howard Patch; sister, Betty Jean Mote; grandson, Christopher Brian Pinkard. She is survived by her sons, Donald Berry Pinkard (Deborah), Ronald Garry Pinkard, James Larry Pinkard, all of Carnesville, GA; grandchildren, David Wayne Pinkard (Vicki) of Jefferson, GA, Jared Kyle Pinkard of Athens, GA, Meagan Amanda Pinkard of Auburn, GA, Cammie Erin Pinkard of Auburn, GA, Larry Monroe Pinkard of Carnesville, GA, Emmett Scott Pinkard of Carnesville, GA, Julie Lynn Jinks (Jared) of Jefferson, GA, several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00PM on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain, GA 30083 with the memorial service to follow at 4:00PM.
