Teresa "Tia" Kay Kick

Teresa "Tia" Kay Kick, age 67, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026. She was born on October 19, 1958, in Atlanta, GA.

Teresa was a hardworking and dedicated woman whose strong work ethic was evident throughout her life. She waitressed before graduating from school and later served customers at Carlos McGee's before beginning a long career as a machine adjuster at Westvaco, where she faithfully worked for 28 years. She took great pride in her work and was respected by those who knew her.

Known affectionately as "Tia" by family and friends, Teresa found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved surfing the internet, planning and taking vacations, discovering new places to eat, and expressing her creativity by making calendars. She embraced opportunities to explore new experiences and treasured the memories she made along the way.

Teresa was a Christian woman whose faith in God remained an important part of her life. Her kindness, quiet strength, and caring heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Kick.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 1:00 - 3:00PM at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
