Thomas A. Ackerman

Thomas Ackerman, born on October 16, 1939, to parents Albert and Adele Ackerman, peacefully passed away on December 9, 2023. A resident of Gwinnett County for over 25 years, Thomas left behind a legacy of academic dedication.

As a college professor, Thomas inspired countless minds with his knowledge and enthusiasm for learning. His impact on the academic community will be remembered by colleagues and students alike.

Thomas found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly his love for trains. Whether it was the rhythmic clickety-clack on the tracks or the marvel of locomotives, his appreciation for trains brought him a sense of contentment.

In accordance with Thomas’s wishes, there will be no services held. His family and close friends appreciate the thoughts and condolences during this time of remembrance.
