Thomas Knight Swinwood, Sr., age 79, of Buford, Georgia passed away, Monday, April 22, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Jean Swinwood; daughter, Tammy Pugh & husband, David; sons, David Swinwood & wife, LaDonna; John Scott Swinwood & wife, Debbie; Thomas Teke Swinwood, Jr.; sister, Jimmie Davis; 6 grandchildren. Mr. Swinwood was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Hebron Baptist Church, a loving, compassionate person and an avid golfer. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. Mac Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park.
