Timothy Eugene Jackson Sr., affectionately known as Tim, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Loganville, Georgia. Born on June 28, 1950, in Santa Cruz, California, Tim lived a life marked by kindness, unwavering love, and deep faith—a legacy that will forever resonate with all who were fortunate to know him.

A man of diverse talents and strong work ethic, Tim spent his career embracing roles as an Uber driver, trucker, construction worker, and preacher. His devotion extended beyond his vocational pursuits; he was a steadfast example of living one's values through action. He imparted to his family and community the profound lesson that to love the Lord with all your heart is to demonstrate that love daily. Tim didn’t merely tell others how to live; he showed them through his actions, embodying strength found in kindness and peace that entered every room he graced.

Tim was, by all accounts, the most kind and lovable man one could meet. His love knew no reserve, and he was cherished beyond measure by his beloved wife, Bonnie Jackson. Together, they shared a rich spiritual journey, often engaging in heartfelt conversations about the Bible and the Lord’s teachings. He delighted in playing games with his grandchildren, moments filled with joy that deeply enriched his life.

To know Tim was to experience a presence that made each person feel seen, valued, and cared for. He carried wisdom without pride, offered unconditional love, and fought life’s battles without wavering. His laughter lightened the heaviest hearts, his words encouraged those in pain, and his constant reminder was that every individual matters. The greatest inheritance Tim leaves behind is the love he planted in the hearts of his family and friends.

Tim was a graduate of high school, a foundation that carried him through a lifetime of meaningful experiences. His family was central to his life’s purpose. He is survived by the love of his life, Bonnie Jackson, his devoted wife; his children Jessica Clark (Stephen) of Loganville, GA; Glend Jackson (Johnny) of Bronson, TX; Robert Jackson (Jessica) of Guys, TN; Mark Jackson of Henderson, TN; and Timmy Jackson (Lahonda) of Duncan, OK. Tim’s legacy is also carried on by his cherished grandchildren: Lacie Danae Jackson (Bryant) of Lufkin, TX; Sara Jackson and Hanah Zerbil of Duncan, OK; Cody Jackson of Henderson, TN; Breylynn Jackson (Rodney) of Jackson, TN; Skye Jackson of Bronson, TX; Zack Jackson of Henderson, TN; Josh Roach of Mayflower, AR; Ashley Lily of Henderson, TN; Brian Jackson of Jackson, TN; Andrew Jackson of Gibson, TN; Xavier Jackson of Lufkin, TX; Isabella Clark, Isaac Clark, Baylee Jackson, Luke Clark, and Eva Clark—all from Loganville, GA or Jackson, TN—each carrying forward his spirit and love.
