It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tonya Foulisa Williams (Lawrenceville, Georgia), who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24th 2020 at 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel (1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24th 2020 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Legacy of Life
Tonya Foulisa Williams of Lawrenceville, Georgia was born in White Plains, New York on October 9, 1968 to Sylvia Williams Hill. She received her education within the Greenburgh Central 7 School District and graduated from Woodlands High School in 1986.
Over the years, she acquired additional education as she studied at Olive Harvey College and DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Tonya also studied cosmetology at Carey’s Beauty College of Georgia and Westchester Beauty School in Mount Vernon, NY.
Tonya was employed as an Assistant Installation Manager for Home Depot Corporation in Marietta, GA forten years. She was also employed at Avon Products, Inc. for seven years where she held various positions including Product Information Training Supervisor.
She was beloved by all of her family and friends, and enjoyed cooking, traveling and event planning. She also loved fashion and was known for her unique style.
Tonya accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and became a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Duluth, GA.
On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, God called her to her heavenly home. Tonya was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Tonya was preceded in death by her Grandparents Annie Williams Chisolm and Leroy Williams, Aunt Margie Williams and Uncles George and Frankie Williams and Bennie Perry. She leaves to cherish her memory, her Mother Sylvia Williams Hill and Step-Father Cal Hill of GA, three Sisters, Afrika Bush, Haitia Bush and Tanisha Bush of GA, Aunts:Carolyn Hood, Ruth Beechum (Ora)Ethel Williams, (Billy) of NY, and Joyce Benton of GA, and Uncle Leroy Williams (Betty) of GA, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for the outpouring of love shown to our family during this time of bereavement. We have sustained a great loss but your kindness and prayers have been most comforting to us. Thank you!
Though her smile is gone forever and her hand I cannot touch I still have so many memories Of the one I loved so much. Her memory is now my keepsake Which with I’ll never part. God has her in his keeping I have her in my heart. Sadly missed but never forgotten.
